Alison Rooney is the Global Head of Capital Markets Partnerships and Alliances lead for Google Cloud. Designing, recruiting and aligning the best partners and ISVs to serve our customers within Financial Services is the team’s objective. Alison harnessed a rich heritage in capital markets, banking, payments and early stage technology ventures to take advantage of Google's technology and our increasing footprint in the industry. Alison focuses on Web 3 and Gen AI ISVs to build out solutions for our shared customers across the financial services ecosystem

Before joining Google, Alison was a Principal Director in Accenture’s Technology Strategy and Advisory practice. Alison began her career in front office operations and loan negotiations where she honed her foundation in capital markets at Paribas Capital Markets and Merrill Lynch. Alison spent several years in financial services consulting leading engagements to implement new trading and payments platforms, regulatory change initiatives and drive measurable change for clients across the operations, risk, compliance and trading.

Alison received her AB in French Literature from Smith College and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Alison also studied at Universite de Paris; La Sorbonne.

Alison volunteers for many Veterans organizations including Google’s VetNet and holds other leadership roles at the YWCA of Greenwich and Smith College’s alumnae association.
