Cedric Fan is a solutions portfolio manager for Russell Investments’ outsourced CIO business, tasked with ensuring that clients’ portfolios are continually optimized to maximize the probability of achieving desired outcomes. He is also a member of the investment committee that reviews and approves all alternatives-focused investment portfolios. Earlier in his career, Cedric was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns, serving as that firm’s first dedicated fixed income prime brokerage risk manager, and before that he was an analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in Economics from New York University, and he is a CFA Charterholder.
