Ya Tung is the Chief Investment Officer for The Jefferies Family Office, which is responsible for managing capital on behalf of Jefferies senior employee-partners. Prior to joining Jefferies, Ms. Tung was a Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor, an asset management firm with over $70bn in AUM. While at GCM Grosvenor, she shared leadership responsibilities for overseeing the private equity business and team, including shaping investment strategy and portfolio construction. Prior to GCM Grosvenor, Ms. Tung was at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a member of the investment team and the Strategy lead for U.S. middle market in XIG (External Investing Group) of GSAM (Goldman Sachs Asset Management). Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ms. Tung served in corporate functions that focused on cost control, operating efficiencies, and production. Ms. Tung is a member of PEWIN, a network of senior women focused on advancing women in PE. Ms. Tung earned her B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and MBA from Columbia Business School.
